Our wellbeing clubs are designed to support both mental and physical wellbeing while creating opportunities for people to connect and enjoy time together. These sessions provide a welcoming space where visitors can relax, socialise and take part in activities that promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
From coffee mornings and wellbeing cafés to support groups and gentle social activities, our wellbeing clubs help bring the community together in a supportive and friendly environment.

The Changes Group meet every Wednesday from 1 – 3pm and is a warm and friendly group for anyone who would like to get out and meet new people.
If you are feeling isolated, anxious or struggling with mental health issues the Changes Group is here to help you.
Over a cup of coffee and a biscuit come and meet new people, who are all in a similar situation and will not judge you. Each week we do different activities including crafts, cooking and gentle exercise.
It is just £3.00 per week and this covers all the refreshments and activities.
The Luncheon Club meets at the Glenmore Centre every Monday between 10am and 2pm.
Most of the members are transported to and from the Centre by the Shepshed Special Community Bus. The group is for local elderly people who live on their own and have few opportunities to get out and meet other people.
The members have tea and biscuits, a chat and a game of dominoes, followed by a home cooked meal. After lunch the members enjoy a game of bingo and a raffle before returning home.
The members are also taken out for lunch several times a year. Last year they went to The Truck Stop for Christmas and The Plough at Normanton for Easter. They also went on a trip to Ulverscroft Manor in August.
Bingo and raffle tickets are available at a small extra cost.
We are a group of ladies, who enjoy meeting together for various activities including small craft projects, informative talks and social events.
This group gives us an opportunity to meet new friends and share and learn new skills. We try to keep the group to 30 regular members to make our craft sessions manageable, so a waiting list is sometimes in operation.
We pay £2.50 per morning attended, which includes refreshments and most craft materials. We often have an open meeting when we have a talk, so you are welcome to come along and enjoy a morning with us.
Please contact Victoria, Centre Manager for more information. Our classes take place on Wednesdays (term time only) 10am to 12 noon.
Quilt Together exists to encourage creativity and personal development through companionship, shared learning and mutual support.
Members of the group make patchwork quilts and various other items using their sewing skills. We do not teach quilting but help each other to learn new skills. We occasionally have workshops and an annual outing.
Group members also actively support Project Linus. It is the mission of Project Linus UK to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are sick, disabled, disadvantaged or distressed, by donating gifts of new, homemade quilts and blankets, lovingly made by volunteer quilters and knitters.
We meet on Wednesday afternoon 12.30 pm – 3.30 pm
